Pioneer Trails RV Park, Anacortes WA, September 2022.  Nice quiet, clean RV park near Anacortes WA.  Check in was too easy, we arrived 10 minutes early and they were not even open but they had our package right there.  We found our spot which is a pull thru – the front of the site is down hill so pull thru is not really that easy.  The site wasn’t very level but we figured it out.  The amenities all look really nice.  The sites are pretty close but its not cement, gravel and lots of trees and forest.  Very natural looking.  Full hook ups.  We will use this place again.

John Wayne Waterfront Resort, Sequim WA, September 2022.  The location is beautiful.  I love this park!  Quiet, not fancy and close enough to town.   We are here Labor Day Weekend so the park is packed and our site isn’t the best.  The John Wayne Marina is right across the street with a restaurant and bar! There are many RV parks in the area but I think this one is going to be a homerun as far as RV resorts go.  Not too fancy and the people running the park are the nicest.  Laundry is small but the clothes smell clean.

Dash Point State Park, Federal Way, WA, August 2022.  Its a state park but the site we got, B6 was like being in a big RV Resort without the amenities.  No privacy and the neighbors were right there. Good location if you need to be in Tacoma area.  There is no easy way to the beach – its a walk, straight downhill about 3/4 of a mile.  You can drive but usually within a park you can walk.  I would choose the Saltwater one that is a bit North.  Both are on the bay but Saltwater has walks along the bay.

Eagle Tree RV Park – Poulsbo WA, October 2013.  Great location.  The sites are tight but in the woods.  We stayed here and Paul worked and I had to return to CA so we didn’t get to do much but the area is very nice and you are right on the sound.

Sisters City Park, September 2011.  Beautiful park with both full hook-ups or water/electric.  Our site was water/electric and had a beautiful lawn for sitting out in the lawn chairs. Paul says the showers were first rate.  Very close to town – walking distance.  In town was a great Pizza place that hand tossed the dough.  Ingredients were excellent.

American Sunset RV Park, May 2011-Sept 2011.  Workamped here.  Westport is a great fishing town where you can fish, walk or drive on the beach or sit on the float and watch the charter boats come in with fish.  The RV park is the nicest one in the area with good size sites on lawn.  Pool looks great!  Management is great to work for and for the guests.  We will go back someday.

Saltwater SP – August 2013, Des Moines, WA.  Small campground, no ammenities.  The dump is at the entrance at the top of the hill.  Not a lot of directions at this park although the rangers were very nice.  Our site #1was small and one side was private.  The site #2 was right next to us so they had no privacy once we parked.  There is a nice 1/4 mile walkway along the sound and the beach is fine.

Sunny Point Resort – Point Roberts, WA, August 2013.  Resort is a stretch.  We were the only non permanent site.  No sewer and the price was high although the manager was very nice and he watched Duke one day for us while we were gone 14 hours!  We thought it would be a good location as it is so close to Vancouver but there was nothing in the town.  It was quiet in the park.  No laundry.
