Sugar Barge RV Park – Bethel Island (August-October 2009) Workamped here. Very nice park, clean. The spots can be small but the owners are great. The river access is perfect and the weather is not too hot – a little windy. We workamped here.
Southern California
Rincon Beach – Ventura (November 2009) Right along the ocean, no hook ups – $25 per night – Take Pacific Coast Hwy exit and turn right along the ocean and pick a site.
Campland by the Bay – San Diego. (November 2009) Very nice large park. Sites are close but the amenities are many.
Santa Fe RV Park – San Diego (November 2009) Right next to the freeway, clean but too noisy. We didn’t stay
Arizona
The Villages at Val Vista - November 2009-April 2010 Mesa type RV park. Mostly park models but very friendly to RV’ers. Sites are close together with a nice cement pad for a patio. Millions of activities. We workamped here.
New York
Singing Waters Campground – June 2010-September 2010 A great place along the river about 5 miles from Old Forge, NY. No cement here or street lights but lots of nature. A big place for the weekender, during the week the place is so quiet. Amenities are few but the river is great.
