Deschutes County Fairgrounds RV Park, Redmond Oregon October 2022.  Clean park, sites are kind of close together but very quiet.  Some grass and full hookups.  Very good location for Pauls work in the area.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, OR  (August 2022 Portland)  Perfect location for a stay in Portland while Paul works.  The park is small and very clean, about 1/2 are residents.  Our site 124, was right on the Sandy River and a great spot to relax and watch the floaters.  Plenty of shade.  The laundry was at the opposite end of the park with several large capacity washers for 3.25, Troutdale is 1/2 mile walk and very quaint with several restaurants.  Pizza at Lola’s was great.  The coffee shop was pricey but the good news is Starbucks was only a 1/2 mile further and right near a small Outlet center.  Located right off 84 and the Columbia River Historic Route.

Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, OR.  August 2022. Located between Medford and Grants Pass. Full hookup, level sites, not too private and the highway is very noisy.  The river is right there.  Was a perfect spot for Teddy and I while Paul worked.  It gets hot so the electricity was a good find.

Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site Campground Mt. Vernon, Oregon. August 2020.  A beautiful campground, first come first served.  A creek runs thru the back of the campground.  We chose a spot near the bathrooms but most spots are great.  Close to John Day and the Chester Thrift Market is awesome.

Starr Campground, NF, John Day, Oregon. August 2020  first come first served. Small, very quiet.  A great stop over spot for $3 a night.

GooseLake SP   New Pine Creek, Oregon.  August 2020.  first come first served. .   Very quiet, Water and Electric, Level sites.  Good for an overnight as there isn’t a town anywhere near.  We departed on to 395 it was probably 100 miles before we saw anything.  We would stay here again if coming through here, would probably head to Bend thru Klamath Falls .

Sherwood Robin Hood Elks Lodge – Sherwood, Oregon.   August 2013.  A very cute area with lots of wineries and small farms.  I went to a cut your own flowers farm.  The lodge has sites overlooking a hill.  It is pretty quiet although you can hear the highway traffic.  We never went into the lodge.

Farewell Bend National Forest Park, Prospect Oregon, September 2011 – Hwy 62 SW of Crater Lake.   A small park with all the sites along the rushing river, beautiful & spacious.  No hook ups and no amenities.  Loved the spot.  The highway is close so during the day it could be noisy.

Joseph Stewart State Park,  Shady Cove, Oregon, September 2011 – Hwy 62 35 miles north of Medford.  Very nice, spacious sites.  Loop B is great and some of the even sites have a view of the resevior.  Water and Electric.  Restrooms really nice

Port Orford RV Village, August 2009, May 2011 A wonderful little RV park right off 101 but quiet.  The town of Port Orford doesn’t have much except a great Agate Beach, a restaurant with great clam chowder and friends.

South Beach State Park, Newport Oregon, August 2022, May 2011.  Right on the dunes, sites are spacious with no views.  The town of Newport is small but has all the amenities.  Our August stay was perfect.  We had a site in the tent area, plenty big enough and very level and spaced apart.  And… No generators!  Love that.  Restrooms are nearby and very clean  No charge for Showers.  The walk to the beach is about 1/2 mile.  Newport waterfront was hopping and several restaurants.  We had sidewalk seating with Teddy and the clam chowder was great.
