Thanksgiving

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

We had a very busy holiday of camping, family, and of course lots of Food!  Paul and I packed the RV and headed to Fresno to pick Stephanie up on Tuesday evening arriving in San Luis Obispo about midnight.  It is so nice traveling with your bed, kitchen and bathroom and no set up when you arrive.  It rained a lot and so it was very muddy but not many other campers.  Wednesday, Stephanie and I made pies and Amy arrived in the evening.  It is so nice to have all of us in one place even if it is only for a couple of days.  Thursday was spent riding in the car to my moms for dinner and visiting.  We were home by 10 pm and had time for a couple of games before Paul & I were falling asleep.  The girls slept in the tent because we make too much noise in the morning!!!  Well they almost got blown away. We had the most amazing wind storm Thursday evening that kept us all awake and me thinking my girls were going to get blown away (right!!)  Always a mom and worrying.

Friday was a beautiful day and we played some golf in the afternoon – Stephanie our newest golfer beat all of us!  Next time she pays.

Amy had to leave Saturday afternoon as she had to get back to Santa Barbara and serve people dinner at Chili’s – Jobs always get in the way of a good time!

Paul, Stephanie and I spent the rest of the weekend relaxing until Monday morning when we had to be up early to get on to the Reserve America website and book our campsite for Santa Barbara in June.  Yes, Amy is graduating which is so cool.

Packing up to go home was very hectic as we had a time crunch but we did it and were on our way.  This will be the last time we need to pack up and go back to Stockton as our next trip is to Arizona and places unknown!
