Christmas was wonderful. Amy’s family hosted both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Santa was very kind to everyone and the girls were especially excited that Santa fed his reindeer the carrots – there were pieces all over the yard! I guess they dropped them as they took off.
The next day we took Stephanie to Anaheim so she could see Disneyland at Christmas. I stayed at the hotel with her and spent the first day hanging out at the hotel and crocheting and watching some TV. A very nice day. Stephanie went into Disneyland and California Adventure and was gone from 9 am until 10:30 at night. She loved it and saw so much. The next day I went with her and we spent the day in Disneyland. By the time we left at 10 I was worn out! We saw so much and then we had a very nice, big dinner in New Orleans Square before we sat out and watched the Fantasmic Show and the Fireworks. We had a special sitting area but there we no seats and you had to sit on the ground! That was interesting getting down on the cement with bad knees. Getting up was even more interesting but I did it. I think my favorite part of the day was in the evening we were walking past It’s a Small World and they do a whole Christmas light show on the castle, but then they project very cool lights and change the whole thing. The castle was cool also.
