I’ve had better days!

I found out Friday that I had eaten the tainted Costco berries and of course the Dr. wants me to get the Hepatitis A vaccine!  Great, so I throw the last 1/2 cup of berries away and head to the clinic to get a shot.  While I am at it I also get my monthly blood test.  The good news is I didn’t get sick, the bad news is I have a bandage over the shot area and in my arm, I look terrible.

That same evening I did something that I have no idea of and put my back on suspension – I can’t stand up for a day and a half!  Lots of icy-hot patches and by Friday evening I am feeling pretty good!  Back is very sore but we are heading to Lake Siskiou for a week and I see lots of margaritas and other libations in my future!

We left Campbell this am and headed towards Lake Shasta, the weather was predicted to be quite warm.  We arrived at a very nice RV park in Corning, CA  and it was only 109 at 4 pm!  We didn’t leave the rv until 8:30.  It is at least 90 out there still!  Ouch!

Here’s to a week of relaxing, good friends, lots of laughs and of course those cold frosty drinks!
